DC/DC Converter
A step-down converter that bridges the high-voltage battery and the 12 V systems inside an electric vehicle. It supplies low-voltage loads such as lighting, audio, heating and cooling and wipers at high efficiency. The power stage uses synchronous MOSFET switching to allow bidirectional conduction; the gate drivers are opto-isolated and include desaturation and Miller clamp protection.
